Hi! I’m TroQuell.

Founder of the Project Beauty and Quell Vision, TroQuell Jenkins created this beauty brand after being shot mutiple times by a guy she dated and declared completely paralyzed. She was inspired by the women and her peers she grew up around in the 3rd ward, Melphomene projects in New Orleans. She said, “They all were beautiful in their own unique ways even though the world did not see them that way. Despite being from such a rough environment- the projects, and coming from such humble beginnings, they were still beautiful women and girls, and I wanted to create a make up line for women like them. A make up line that fits their skin tones, culture, and personalities, and one that is affordable.” However, this makeup line is not just for women of color who are from the projects. While the inspiration came from those women, this line is for all women of every color, though it is rooted in Troquell’s project bred experiences. Project Beauty line has a great Soft Matte Foundation that ranges in 24 different colors, fit for all skin tones and undertones. Not only that, but various lipsticks and lipglosses, eyeshadow palettes, mascara, and so much more to be added to its line.
